Microsoft Case Competition
The 2008 FuturTech Conference proudly presents the Microsoft Case Competition. This competition gives Michigan students an opportunity to apply business strategy and product marketing fundamentals in the high technology industry. Each team will be given the same case question to address and for which to provide clear recommendations using a PowerPoint presentation.
Competition Schedule
- Saturday, 1/13 (noon) – Team Registration Deadline (submit team member's names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers and resumes to Yi Zheng - yizheng@umich.edu).
- Saturday, 1/13 (5 PM) – Case e-mailed to teams; competition officially begins.
- Wednesday, 1/16 (by midnight) – Case responses submitted via e-mail to Yi Zheng - yizheng@umich.edu).
- Monday, 1/21 (by midnight) – Finalists notified (6 teams will be selected to present their recommendations).
- Friday, 1/25 – Each of the 6 teams will have 25 minutes to present their case to a panel of judges from Microsoft followed by 10 minutes of Q&A. Winners will be declared at the end of the day.
Eligibility
Each team can have one or two members. At least one member of the team must be an MBA1 student enrolled at the Ross School of Business. The second member must be any student currently enrolled at the University of Michigan.

- 3rd place: Zune 4G
